Dr Athina Matekovits Dalamaga received her MD from Athens School of Medicine and specialized in Dermato-Venereology at the most prestigious university dermatology departments in Greece and in the USA. On completion of her residency, she was awarded a grant to attend the International Training Program at Harvard Dermatology.
Dr Matekovits displays a special scientific interest in the interactions of LASERS and light with human skin. She has recently completed her PhD thesis in Photodermatology – Photodermatoses. She continues her collaboration as a scientific associate with Andreas Sygros Hospital for Skin and Venereal Diseases in Athens, Greece. She has published numerous articles in Dermatology Journals and has given lectures in Medical Congresses in Greece and abroad.
Dr Matekovits maintains active membership in several professional societies, including the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
Her office in Glyka Nera – Athens metropolitan area, Greece, was founded in 2009, to provide high quality medical services in a comfortable and friendly environment. As a Dermatologist, Dr Matekovits is committed to offer state-of -the -art medical, cosmetic and laser dermatologic treatments, using advanced technology in order to ensure the safest and most effective approach on a case-by-case basis.
Dr Matekovits speaks fluently English and French.
She is married and has a daughter and a son.
